AAMI Golden Slipper

The biggest day on the New South Wales racing calendar is the 2008 AAMI Golden Slipper which happens this Saturday the 19th of April at Sydney’s lovely Rosehill Racecourse. The day will boast five Group 1 races including the Golden Slipper which with $3.5 million prize money is the world’s richest race for two year olds. Previous winners include Eremien, Makybe Diva, Might and Power and Octagonal. The course will be full of all the glamour, action and excitement of AAMI Golden Slipper Day, the pinnacle of autumn racing. Myer Fashions on the Field finals for men and women and the National Young Designer Awards are two of the popular on track events which are also not to be missed. Put on your best frock and hat and get down to Rosehill this Saturday.
