This Sat the 20th of October marks a great day in Victorian racing and we are not talking about the Caulfield Cup. The Avoca Cup is held at Avoca in the Central Highlands of Victoria and has gained a reputation of being on Victoria’s classic country race meetings. The towns population of just under 1000 explodes this weekend as people come from everywhere to experience the country race course. Avoca is about 40 mins from Ballarat or about an hour from Bendigo.
