The Age 2007 Melbourne Fringe Festival

This year marks the 20th anniversary of this popular festival in Melbourne. Attracting over 3000 performers with more than 200 shows and with ticket prices averaging under $20 its not hard to see why this is rated one of Melbourne’s favorite events. This year some of Melbourne’s hippest bars, clubs, galleries and warehouse play host to performances, some interesting fringe furniture is on show at the museum and the Festival Club the hub of the festival has taken over North Melbourne with its zany entertainment including the League of Sideshow Superstars II performance ‘Don’t Try This at Home’.
