The Great Brisbane Duck Race

This Friday the 29th of August is the Great Brisbane Duck Race where thousands of rubber ducks will race along with the tide down a 100 metre course on the Brisbane River. It’s a joyous celebration of our heritage, environment and community. vintage cars and motorcycles, vintage fire truck, Cobb & Co coach rides roving entertainment, a live stage and heaps more, Hurstbridge is 40 mins from Melbourne’s CBD and is the last train station on the Hurstbridge line with a steam train running from the city on the day.
