Movie World

The Gold Coast has some of Australia’s best theme parks and Movie World is one of the favorites.

Get a glimpse of some of the magic which goes on behind the scenes in your favorite movies, see some great live shows or experience some of the best rides around. Some of the favorites include the Batman simulator ride, Lethal Weapon’s & Scooby Doo’s rollercoaster rides and the Wild Wild West Water ride where visitors ride a floating log down a huge waterfall.

Movie world is exhilarating fun for all the family, there are rides and shows to suit all ages.

Seaworld

Seaworld is the oldest of the main theme parks on the Gold Coast and has had expansions in recent years.

Recently a huge shark enclosure has opened where people can get up close which these giants of the sea and even swim with them.

The favorite attraction at Seaworld is Australia’s only Polar Bears. These huge fury critters delight crowds all day long.

There are seals, dolphins and all times of marine fish, birds and animals.
Seaworld even features some great rides, monorails, rollercoasters and various shows are sure to delight the visitor.

Wet ‘n’ Wild

Queensland is the sun state and what better theme park than a giant water slide park. Situated next to Movieworld on the highway between Surfers Paradise and Brisbane is Wet ‘n Wild.

Dozens of fun water based activates are available including, giant waterslides, rapid pools and comfy lagoons to sun your self by.

Dreamworld

Dreamworld is another of the popular theme parks on the Gold Coast. Dreamworld is full of fun and exciting rides including some of the best, biggest, and fastest rollercosters in Australia.

In recent years Dreamworld has played host to Television’s Big Brother which is filmed from the park.

Jupiter’s Casino

Fancy trying your luck, well Jupiter’s is the place. One of Australia’s biggest casinos with all the Vegas style games you expect. Poker Machines, Blackjack, Keno, Poker- you name it Jupiter’s Has it.

Jupiter’s also has some fantastic bars and dining experiences- don’t leave with out trying the buffet!.

Jupiter’s is linked by monorail to near by Broad beach Shopping Centre and is walking distance from the huge Pacific Fair shopping centre.

Pacific Fair

If shopping’s your thing then Pacific Fair is the place for you. One of Australia’s biggest shopping malls with all the big stores and hundreds of smaller specialty stores. There’s something for everyone and bargains to be had.

Much of the centre is outdoors so you can enjoy the beautiful Queensland sun while shopping.

There’s great food halls, kids fun and parking for thousands. Being on the main Gold Coast Strip most busses stop.
