Port Arthur

Cascade Brewery

Cascade is Australia’s oldest brewery and produces some premium quality beer found in Australia. Using only the freshest Tasmanian ingredients and crystal clear water, it produces a beautiful drop. Tours of the brewery are available, and word is you can taste some of their tasty product at the end of the tour.

Wrest Point Casino

Australia’s first casino, opening in 1973 and offers a fantastic gaming experience.  With all the games popular games and fun you would expect from a world-class casino, Wrest Point, Hobart’s highest skyscraper, is a must for everyone wanting a flutter.

Salamanca Place

Just up from Constitutional Dock is Salamanca Place, a thriving historic strip of old wharf sheds which have now been converted into cafés, restaurants and tourist based shops. The weekend the whole area turns into a fantastic market with over 300 stalls selling everything from fresh produce to arts and crafts. It is estimated over 92% of visitors to Tasmania visit this precinct.
