The Ford Discovery Centre
Ford Australia started its operations in Australia in Geelong in 1925 and is still going strong nearly 80 years later.
Situated across the road from the original assembly plant (a old wool store on Geelong’s waterfront) is the Ford Discovery Centre.
Open 6 days a week (closed Tuesday) it is a showcase of everything Ford, from the early beginnings to the latest high technology used in current vehicles. See a real clay model, one off prototype vehicles, engineering exhibitions and a historic range of vehicles – educational fun for the whole family.
